For my second logo heist, I chose a more serious topic; fast food and it's direct correlation with Type 2 Diabetes. The rise of Type 2 Diabetes among children and teens has been increasing steadily over the last years.
I believe that fast food chains, such as Sonic drive-thrus, are an enormous contributor to the rise of childhood obesity in America. The food proffered at these chains is cheap, easy, and convenient, which is necessary to provide to parents, with work and time constraints.
It is unfortunate that these chains do not provide healthier options. The American public will continue to gravitate towards convenient foods. There should be some sanctions to assure us that there are healthy AND convenient options. Diabetes, in general, is an awful disease to contract. Children don't deserve to endure T2DM when they have no way to avoid it.
